This page in a nutshell. Though not all cartoon haters are toxic.
Nickname: Cartoon Haters
Type: Cartoon Hatedom
Status: Active

A cartoon is a type of illustration, possibly animated, typically in a non-realistic or semi-realistic style. The specific meaning has evolved, but the modern usage usually refers to either: an image or series of images intended for satire, caricature, or humor; or a motion picture that relies on a sequence of illustrations for its animation. Someone who creates cartoons in the first sense is called a cartoonist, and in the other sense, they are usually called an animator. Cartoons originated in the Middle Ages, which is described as a preparatory drawing for a piece of art such as a painting, fresco, tapestry, or stained glass window. While we all know that the cartoon community is toxic, the haters aren't any better.

Why They're Cartoonishly Toxic

  1. Most of them are Weeaboos who hate cartoons for several dumb reasons and think that they can ban cartoons in a snap, thus only accepting anime.
  2. They think that all cartoon fans are pedophiles, cartoonaboos, basement dwellers, and manchildren, which doesn't make any sense.
  3. They think that cartoons are for little kids when they can be enjoyed by anyone. Also, there has been some adult cartoons that existed such as Hazbin Hotel, Rick and Morty, Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, BoJack Horseman, Camp Camp, Drawn Together, King of the Hill, Happy Tree Friends, Futurama, Final Space, The Midnight Gospel, The Boondocks, etc. And didn't we forget to mention that adult animated films exist such as Sausage Party and Fritz the Cat. With that said, they use the infamous "cartoons are for kids" excuse.
    • In addition, there have been some moments when kids shows manage to tackle serious and mature concepts such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Steven Universe, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Green Eggs & Ham, Kim Possible, Gravity Falls, Superbook (2011), Hey Arnold, Ready Jet Go!, Thomas & Friends, Let's Go Luna!, Molly of Denali, Xavier Riddle, As told by Ginger, Fat Albert, just to name a few. This is proof of how brain dead these toxic haters can be.
      • Heck, even some animated films that children can also enjoy are shown to have some serious concepts as well including Toy Story 3 (because of that incinerator scene), Frozen, Zootopia, Spider-Verse, The Lion King, Tarzan, How to train your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, The Iron Giant, Wall-E, etc.
  4. They complain about cartoons being unrealistic. They would make up dumb excuses such as a character still being alive after being shot by a barrage of bullets, emotions in the forms of humanoid-ish creatures living inside a brain, cavemen living in the stone age that resembles a modern setting, a character surviving from an anvil, etc. They don't seem to be bothered to how non-cartoons can have some unrealism such as a someone getting a visual manifestation of life energy, a girl turning into a giant blueberry like form, a public telephone booth being used as a time machine, using a notebook that possesses a supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written, someone jumping into books, etc.
  5. They think that many cartoons are full of stereotypes and cliches when non-cartoons can also do the same.
  6. Hypocrisy: they hate cartoonaboos for their behavior, yet some of them could be weeaboos, koreaboos, slavaboos, wolfaboos, etc.
  7. They think that watching cartoons is bad for kids. Since when did that ever happen?
  8. Some would be part of the United States Hatedom and the Canada Hatedom just because of how many cartoons are American and Canadian.
  9. They hate cartoons just because of The Cartoon Community. Listen here, just because a community is bad, does not mean you have to hate cartoons.
  10. There have been some cartoons banned for dumb reasons. One example would be how China banned Peppa Pig just because she was promoting "gangster attitudes." How did an innocent children's show character become a gangster symbol?
  11. They always complain about the toilet humor in cartoons while there are other media that have toilet humor as well.
  12. There are Moral Guardians and Obsessive Anti-SJWs in this hatedom, who hate cartoons for supposedly having bad role models and messages.
  13. Some might be former fans of cartoons, but they started to believe that cartoons suck because of shows like TTG, Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, Uncle Grandpa, PowerPuff Girls (2016), Ben 10 (2016), Thundercats Roar, etc.
  14. Many of them hate cartoon yet like anime with cartoon art-style like Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
    • They also don't mind that some anime have made reference to cartoons such as FLCL making a reference to South Park, and Your Lie in April quoting lines from Peanuts.
    • They also fail to realize that if it weren't for cartoons, anime wouldn't exist.
    • They also don't mind that many anime voice actors have voice characters in cartoons.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. They do have a point that the Cartoon Community is toxic, especially Cartoonaboos who started this.
  2. Some are mature haters who don't take cartoons too seriously since not everyone has to like them.
  3. They are right that some cartoons are bad in general. As long as they understand that everyone is entitled to have their own taste.
  4. They point out about how some cartoons are very controversial, such as Censored 11.

Is toxic quality #12 true? I thought Mr. Enter was part of the cartoon community, not the hatedom.

My therapist says cartoons are only for little kids and anime is for teens and adults. 100% bullshit! (even though a lot of anime actually is for a 13+ audience, but the stuff he said about cartoons is false af)
