The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things.
TV Show Fandom
Doctor Who is a British science-fiction TV show produced by the BBC since 1963. The show focuses on the adventures of a Time Lord in the form of extraterrestrial beaning called "The Doctor" from the planet Gallifrey. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-traveling space ship called the TARDIS which looks like a blue British police box. While the Doctor faces off against a variety of foes in order to save civilizations and help people in need, the Doctor is always accompanied by a number of companions. While the show is very successful and well known in pop culture, it does have a toxic side as well.
Why They Must Be EX-TER-MINATED!!
Many fans are split into different groups.
First off, you got the classic elitists who only glorify the classic series (1963-1989) to death.
Second, you have the modern-tards who only glorify the modern series (2005-present) to death.
They freaked out when the Thirteenth Doctor game to existence simply because how most of the Doctors are portrayed as males. In fact, Jodie Whittaker (The Thirteenth Doctor's actress) has gotten backlash to the point that Steven Moffat (a showrunner) said "It strikes me that Doctor Who fans are more excited about the idea of a brilliant actress playing the part, than the fact she's a woman. It's been incredibly progressive and enlightened". Ironically enough, the said incarnation of the Doctor has gotten a positive reception. This article can explain.
Similar enough, they tried to boycott the show until Chris Chibnall is fired and/or the Doctor is recast with a male actor.
They even continually bash season 11 due to its flaws. You do realize that no one is perfect right?
Whenever they see an episode they don't like, they will whine like babies.
On the flip side, they will over glorify some of the episodes they like.
They even want to go as far as making Doctor Who an actual religion when there is no way that a show would be turned into a religion. This can explain.
Many of the fans would treat The Doctor like God. How on earth would you treat a fictional character like some religious figure like God if the Doctor is only fictional? Just because the Doctor is a Time Lord does not mean that the Doctor is God.
Dumb ships with Bambi x The Doctor being a prime example.
Some of them would even start wars on which companion is the best. Let everyone like their favorite companion the way they are. No one is perfect.
Whenever they would talk about their least favorite companion, they will try to bash on them.
They manage to call Doctor Who the best British TV show of all time and often forget that BBC has distributed other shows like Sherlock, Merlin (2008 TV Series), etc.
Some of its fans won't stop talking about the show. Guys we get it, you like the show but there is no need to constantly shove it.
Whenever the Doctor regenerates into a different incarnation, they will cry like babies. Sure it is sad but the Time Lord is just fictional.
They overpraise the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors when they would forget about the other Doctors.
They are blind to many of the monsters in Doctor Who such as the Weeping Angels, The Daleks and The Cybermen to the point that they would forget that other monsters exist such as the Slitheens, The Zygons, The Autons, the Headless Monks and many others.
A lot of the fans are actually sane, nice, and mature who respect others. It's just that this fandom also has a dark side.
There is still a lot of great fan art.
They do have a point about season 11 flaws as well as some of the companion's flaws and some of the episodes' flaws.
Some do like both classic and modern Doctor Who.
A lot can except that The Doctor does indeed regenerate to a completely new Doctor.
