NBA 2K is a series of basketball sports simulation video games developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. These games were released annually since 1999 and the premise of each game in the series is to emulate the sport of basketball, more specifically, the National Basketball Association, and present improvements over the previous installments. Players control an entire team or a select player during the game whose objectives coincide with the rules of basketball and presentation that resemble actual televised NBA games. Various game modes have been featured in the series, allowing for gameplay variety. Numerous elements of the games feature customizable options. Each game features the teams and players from the current NBA season; historic NBA teams and players have also been featured, as have EuroLeague teams. Fictional players and teams can also be created and compiled. The most well-known modes of the series would be its career mode which is described as a sports-theme role-playing game that centers on the basketball career of the player's created player. Another mainstay of the series is a mode allowing the player to assume control of an NBA franchise, acting as general manager. The mode has been featured in numerous NBA 2K games and is often titled Association; the most recent games in the series feature the MyGM and MyLeague modes. In the modes, the player controls virtually all aspects of a team, rather than just playing games with the team. As the player simulates through seasons, they must satisfy the needs of the team's personnel and the owner. The MtTeam mode focuses on building a team of players and competing against others in online play. There is a lot of game modes that were only featured in one of the particular game (for example 2K 11 features the Jordan Challenge mode). While this franchise is known to be one of the most successful and well-known video game franchises of all time, it did spawn a really toxic fandom.
Why They Can't Be The Story
As what you can expect, they are part of the NBA Fandom since this is an NBA game.
They even want to fire Ronnie2K when it takes more than just petitions to fire a person.
Some are even nostalgiatards who complain about the newer games to no end thus wanting the games to be as good as the older games. Remember Paper Mario Fanboy's doing it? yeah you do
These idiots support glitches in the game just so they can play online and cheat via the glitch. We do know for a fact that glitches can be bad news that's for sure. In fact, they just go look for ways to break the game rather than playing fair.
Just like the Call of Duty Fandom, they only buy the games just for the multiplayer thus ignoring that 2K does have a single-player mode.
They are so picky when it comes to the players meaning that if you have more wins than losses, then they can't play with you. Record checkers do the same as well
A lot of these players in the online community are either egomaniacal (because they run clubs/play the game a lot/ or have a group so they can treat others poorly), tryhards, trash talkers, or racist people. In fact, they make up mean-spirited insults such as "delete the game", "u trash", the N-word, or anything as basic as "STFU".
