Pac-Manand the Ghostly Adventures is an American/Japanese/Canadian computer-animated comedy-adventure television series featuring Namco's classic video game character Pac-Man. It is produced by 41 Entertainment, Arad Productions, and Bandai Namco Entertainment for Tokyo MX (stereo version), BS11 (stereo version) and Disney XD (bilingual version). The series takes place on and around the planet Pac-World as well as its Nether-World, where time passes at an Earth-like rate of 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, also having a 7-day week. Pac-Man, Spiral, and Cylindria attend a Pacopolis boarding school in the form of Maze School. They help to protect citizens from the threat of Ghosts after the seal that locked up the Netherworld was accidentally opened by Pac at the time he was avoiding the school bully Skeebo. Ghosts are able to possess Pac-Worlder bodies although only for a time limit of a few minutes unless aided by Dr. Buttocks technology. Victims of possession usually are apparent by a red-eyed glow although this too can be prevented with Buttocks technology. Pac-Man is also friends with four ghosts in the form of Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde that surrendered and vowed to help him along his voyage (in exchange for being restored to the living world). Pac-Man vows to stop Betrayus and the ghosts (or any other bad guy) from taking over Pac-World while searching for his long-lost parents. We all know that this show did poor, but its hatedom is still not even better.
Why They Need To Waka Waka Way
When they found out that Ashleigh Ball (Who voices Jet and Zerk from Ready Jet Go!, Applejack and Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Mary and Sissy from Johnny Test) was part of the cast members (Who voices Pinky), they were enraged. The same could be said about others as well like Erin Mathews voicing (Little Strongheart and Gabby from MLP) Pac-Man, Sam Vincent (voicing Party Favor and Flim Skim) as Spiral, Betrayus, and Stratos Spheros, Andrea Libman (Voicing Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy) as Cylindria, etc. In short, they would get mad whenever they see a character they hate voice another character from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.
Hell, they always ignore that the voice actors who voiced some MLP characters or any characters from a certain franchise they hate will ignore that they have voiced characters from series they may like such as Ian James Corlet voicing Goku, Chi, and Master Roshi in the Saban dub of Dragon Ball Z, Sam Vincent voicing Edd in Ed, Edd n Eddy, Brian Drummond as Vegeta, Yajirobe, Fortuneteller Baba, Vegito, Pikkon and Yamu in the Ocean Group dub of Dragon Ball Z, the list could go on.
They complain about Pac's design because he has teeth and fingers. Really now, character design does not dictate the quality of a character.
Ironically enough, The yellow ghost eater has shown to have fingers and teeth before Ghostly Adventures came to existence. Tale a look at how Pac-Man appears in the 1982 Hanna-Barbera series, he had fingers. Another example would be how he did had shown teeth before such as Pac-Man 2.
Some used to be former fans of Pac-Man, but turn their backs one this show came to existence.
They hate this show just for being "overrated" despite the fact it had gotten more concern that praise.
Hate art still exist you know. One example includes the original Pac-Man punching the Pac-Man that appears in Ghostly Adventures (ToxicIsland this pic). Heck, why don't you go watch CHEEZN64X's video "The real reason why PMATGA was canceled" where it featured Super Buu "killing" Pac-Man. Hate stamps also do this as well such as one made by Yingyangmonster.
They use the infamous "ruined my childhood" excuse to hate the show. Really?
They hate this show just because Pac-Man being a teenager than an adult. What even...
They think that the show ruined Pac-Man all together when they are just being delusional. Besides, Pac-Man is still present today such as Namco Museum Switch, Pac-Man still being playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pac-Man still presents in Ralph Breaks the Internet as a cameo in some form, etc.
Some of them would even think that the theme song for the show sounds like "Summoning a demon". Not making this up and one of the comments of this video has proof.
Some of them hate the show just because Mr.Enter put the theme song in The Top Worst Opening Themes. This is proof that they are Enterbots.
Moral Guardians hate this show just because of the Nether-World and they compare the ghosts that appear in the show to demons. Another thing is that they hate it for being "edgy" not making this up.
Don't say you like this show in front of the haters because they will gobble you up.
Some hate this show so much that they ignore the good qualities of the show. Of course, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures isn't perfect, but there are some upsides such as Cylindria, Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde being likable or the characters aren't always clichéd.
They do have good points as to why the show is bad such as Pac-Man only caring about food rather than helping others, Lord Betrayus being a generic and immature villain, relying too much on gross humor and edgy teenager clichés.
Some are actually fine with Pac-Man's design in the show.
Some are aware that some of the voice actors in the show also voiced characters from things they may like.
Some still like Pac-Man as a franchise as well as Bandai Namco.
They are right that Sakurai didn't want to use this version of the ghost eater.
