Stan Lee Hatedom
"I've had a long enough life"
Type: People Hatedoms
Status: Very Active

Stan Lee was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-run business to become Marvel Comics' primary creative leader for two decades, leading its expansion from a small division of a publishing house to a multimedia corporation that dominated the comics industry. In collaboration with others at Marvel—particularly co-writer/artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko—he co-created numerous popular fictional characters, including superheroes Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man. In doing so, he pioneered a more naturalistic approach to writing superhero comics in the 1960s, and in the 1970s he challenged the restrictions of the Comics Code Authority, indirectly leading to changes in its policies. In the 1980s he pursued the development of Marvel properties in other media, with mixed results. Following his retirement from Marvel in the 1990s, he remained a public figurehead for the company, and frequently made cameo appearances in films and television shows based on Marvel characters, on which he received an executive producer credit. Meanwhile, he continued independent creative ventures into his 90s, until his death in 2018. Stan Lee was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995. He received the NEA's National Medal of Arts in 2008. He may be popular but that still leads to a toxic hatedom.

Why They Aren't So Damn Much Smarter

  1. Let's start off with getting the cat out of the bag. They celebrated his death which is considered Disrespecting the Dead. Just look at this mess and this post on Tumblr.
  2. They would come from the DC Fandom (obvious, right?), the K-Pop Fandom, the Michael Jackson Hatedom (because Stan did had a friendly relationship with Jackson.), the Marvel Hatedom (you should know why), the Teen Titans Go! Hatedom (because he appeared in Teen Titans Go! To the MoviesGMW), the Judaism Hatedom (because he was Jewish), the Sony Pictures Animation Hatedom (because of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseGMW), the Anime Hatedom because he collaborated with Hiroyuki Takei (the creator of Shaman KingBTSW) on a manga called Ultimo, and the Disney Hatedom (because of Lee making cameos in some Disney properties including the MCU, Big Hero 6 and Ralph Breaks the Internet). They are also edgelords, SJWs (because Stan told SJWs to make their own characters), Internet Trolls, Demonizers, Weeaboos, and Koreaboos.
    • Speaking of the koreaboos and the K-Poppers, they taunted Stan Lee by thinking that that "stanning" K-pop idols would have prevented his death.
  3. Some of them actually distaste him just because he's popular. Oh, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, that is not how we treat the dead.
  4. If you express any positive view of him even in the tiniest bit of the slightest form, pack your bags and be ready to escape, you will not make it out alive with them.
  5. Some of the haters actually believe the fact that Stan Lee is burning in hell while he’s dead. Excuse us?
  6. Some actually made morbid memes of Stan Lee's death which do count as hate memes since we are talking about the late Stan Lee here. A good example of people making fun of Stan's death would be this and this.
  7. They think that Stan Lee stole Jack Kirby's ideas. If Stan stole ideas from Jack, then explain how Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko co-created numerous popular fictional characters? Stan always gave Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Romita, and the other key artists he worked within the 1960s with the credit they are due.
  8. A few of them hate him just because he's old and white which is a racist and ageist reason to dislike a person. Especially when we're talking about a man who died from congestive heart failure.
  9. Even before Stan Lee died, some actually wanted Stan to die as soon as possible. Yeah, we are not making this up.
  10. Speaking of the SJWs, they actually went apeshit when Stan Lee said that Spider-Man should still be white and straight. Woah there. Put down your pitchforks, it's not like Stan Lee is against homosexuality or different races.
  11. There's even a group of Tumblr dedicated to hating on Stan Lee himself. They always go by the name of #antistanlee.
  12. They started to laugh at Stan Lee just because of Stan being accused of sexual misconduct, even if he was never convicted of sexual misconduct.

Why There Are Some Who Are All-Powerful, And Their Greatest Weapon is Love

  1. It's safe to assume that you can still find some people who are just not fans of him and don't hate him like crazy
  2. Some did pay respects to Stan Lee.
  3. They might have valid points that Stan Lee wasn't perfect like every normal human being.
  4. Some are ok with Stan Lee wanting Spider-Man to be on his own image.
